aislamiento acústico en puertas 01Soundproofing in doors is one of the most delicate areas when you want to achieve really good acoustics. Noise levels and noise pollution are getting higher and affecting more and more people. The European Environment Agency’s “Environmental noise in Europe 2020” report warns that 20% of the European population, i.e. more than 100 million people, are exposed to prolonged noise levels that are harmful to health. That is why it is so important to reduce noise levels and, at the same time, increase noise protection measures, such as the installation of acoustic doors or soundproof doors.

Spigodoor, the division of Spigogroup that manufactures technical doors, has a number of soundproof door models specially designed to offer required levels of soundproofing in premises where good sound insulation is essential (hotels, hospitals, schools, theatres, etc.).

Thus, the entry model of the Sound series, the 32 dB soundproof door, is compliant with the S/UNE-EN-ISO-10140-2:2011 standard, RW(C:CTR)=32(0;-1) dB. The brand completes its Sound Series of soundproof doores with the 34 dB, 38 dB and 42 dB models.

All models can be finished with micro-perforated acoustic panel cladding, which gives them sound-absorbent characteristics that also allow the acoustic doors to help control acoustic reverberation and acoustic conditioning. Finishes are available in MDF, veneer, lacquer and laminated HPL in the shade and colour that best suits your project.
