European Leather Centre in Igualada

The project proposed the comprehensive rehabilitation of two leather tanning factories located in the industrial neighbourhood of Rec in Igualada, as part of a broader strategic plan that would enhance the value of the neighbourhood's heritage assets and also complement the offer of the nearby Igualada Leather Museum. At Spigo we were called upon to participate by providing special wood panelling, beams and other bespoke commissions that gave us the opportunity to work very intimately with our material par excellence: wood.
