Acoustic removable ceilings are removable ceilings that take advantage of their surface to absorb sound in a room, preventing it from bouncing and producing troublesome effects, such as reverberation. In addition to the advantages of being removable also they offer the possibility of incorporating ceiling fixtures, vents, speakers and other accessories. For this reason, acoustic removable ceilings are widely used in acoustic conditioning projects in offices, meeting rooms, restaurants, auditoriums and other rooms where there are many people at a time and good acoustics is necessary.

At first, acoustic removable ceilings stand out for the perforations on their surface, which provide the different levels of sound absorption in the different models. On the back, removable ceilings also have a black veil that completes the acoustic sound-absorbing properties of the wood panels.

Depending on the type drilling one can distinguish between grooved, circular or square perforations acoustic removable ceilings. Of course, if required, there are also smooth ceilings without any drilling.

  • The acoustic removable ceilings with circular perforations, they offer (depending on model) an overall average NRC (Noise Reduction Criteria) of 0.55 and an overall average absorption coefficient of 0.43 (0.00 being a lack of absorption and 1.00 total absorption of incident sound).
  • The acoustic removable ceilings with grooved perforations, they offer (depending on model) an overall average NRC (Noise Reduction Criteria) of 0.70 and an overall average absorption coefficient of 0.59 (0.00 being a lack of absorption and 1.00 total absorption of incident sound).
  • The acoustic removable ceilings with squared perforations, they offer (depending on model) an overall average NRC (Noise Reduction Criteria) of 0.70 and an overall average absorption coefficient of 0.62 (0.00 being a lack of absorption and 1.00 total absorption of incident sound).
