Spigotec families: acoustic wood tiles options for ceilings

Spigotec is Spigo’s range of acoustic wood tiles for ceilings. Wood false ceilings, wood ceilings and wall coverings, specially designed for enclosed spaces in which aesthetics and acoustic conditioning are earmarked astheir best attributes. . In the search for acoustically pleasant environments, acoustic ceiling tiles have become a widespread solution in both commercial and residential spaces. Of the many materials available, wood acoustic panels stand out not only for their aesthetics but also for their functional advantages. . There are about 41 models of Spigotec acoustic wood tiles for ceilings. All the models are resistant to fire and humidity, they are very easy to install and offer different degrees of acoustic absorption according to the needs of each project. . Depending on the type of perforation they feature, the Spigotec catalogue of acoustic wood ceiling panels is divided into six families. . . • Model Plain: without perforations. See model • Circular perforation models: 12 tiles with circular perforations offering weighted absorption coefficients between 0.208 and 0.518, and a perforated surface area percentage between 1.20% and 11.10%. See models • Grooved/ovoid perforation models: 9 tiles with grooved/ovoid perforations offering weighted absorption coefficients between 0.348 and 0.593, and a perforated surface area percentage between 6,50% and 17,72 %. See models • Squared perforation models: 3 tiles with squared perforations offering weighted absorption coefficients between 0.377 and 0.487, and a perforated surface area percentage between 7,70 % y 25,00 %. Lighting and wood slat cladding: the case of ISCG Business School

Lighting and wood slat cladding are two key elements in the design of new workspaces and educational spaces. This is the case of the project we bring to our blog today. Wood slat cladding, such as that manufactured by Spigoline, not only adds warmth and sophistication, but also transforms the way in which light, both natural and artificial, interacts with the environment. In a classroom, the strategic placement of wood slats tiles on the ceilings allows natural light to be controlled, softening its entry and distributing it evenly to avoid glare or uncomfortable shadows. When there is a lack of natural light, cladding facilitates the integration of artificial lighting through the incorporation of LED lights or recessed lighting systems. This was the case at the new ISCG Paris Business School. The Institut Supérieur de Commerce et de Gestion (ISCG), commissioned Deskeo Space Management SAS the design, renovation and equipping of the new centre, located in a 400-m² dark building in the heart of the 4th arrondissement of the French capital. The challenge was to achieve a bright and welcoming space, perfectly adapted to the pedagogical needs of the school, in a space that lacked windows and natural light. To achieve this, they opted for the installation of approximately 200 m² of Spigoline Grid 3-30-70-90 wood slat cladding on the ceilings, in 3-strip lengths. 000×360 cm, finished in PSM R12354 stain (similar to oak) and autoclave treated. To compensate for the absence of natural light, subtle, wrap-around lighting was designed with LED strips and carefully integrated ceiling lights. The result was, quite simply, spectacular.       . . 3 modern design ceilings made with wood slat cladding

Wood has been an essential material in architecture and interior design for centuries, but in recent years, its use in modern design ceilings has taken on a new importance. Ceilings with wood slat cladding bring elegance and warmth to any space. Its use not only beautifies the rooms, but also improves acoustics, provides a greater feeling of spaciousness and contributes to more balanced lighting thanks to its ability to reflect and diffuse light harmoniously. In this article, we will explore three modern design ceilings made with Spigoline wood slat cladding, which fully harness the aesthetic potential of wood.   Práxedes Mateo Sagasta Secondary School We installed more than 400 m² of Spigoline Grid 6-30-70-30 model solid wood slat cladding, with black grilles and finished in white-tinted obeche wood with autoclave bs1d0.       Finanzauto offices These are the offices of the earthmoving equipment and energy solutions distributor, FINANZAUTO, in Chiva, Valencia, for which we manufactured 750 m² of SPIGOLINE GRID solid wood slat ceilings, of Model 2-15-70-165. The 3000 x 1500 mm panels come with 2 slats (15 mm thick and 70 mm high), separated by a 165 mm gap. The slats are made of solid ayous wood with a PSM R12356 finish and feature black rods. Wood lath and slat cladding in new coworking spaces: the case of Coworking Hiptown in Paris

Solid wood lath and slat cladding, such as that produced by Spigogroup for its Spigoline and Spigoplank brands, is a popular and successful choice for modern coworking spaces. This natural material contributes warmth, sophistication and an organic touch; features that are increasingly sought in collaborative work environments. Solid wood has a unique ability to convey a sense of proximity and comfort; ideal for offices where a relaxed yet professional atmosphere is desired. In addition, the wood used in Spigoplank decorative wood panels and Spigoline wood slats is a sustainable material, with PEFC and FSC certificates guaranteeing that it comes from sustainably managed forests. This reinforces values such as environmental responsibility and quality, which are particularly appreciated in modern coworking spaces looking to be attractive, functional and aligned with ecological principles. A good example is one of the latest projects in which our Spigoplank and Spigoline brands have been jointly involved. This is Coworking Hiptown, designed by the architectural studio OVGA in the centre of Paris, where they were installed:   Spigoplank 01 decorative wood panels in solid oak, used on the walls of some common areas such as the lift area. The model is very quick and easy to install, with a three-dimensional longitudinal surface in the form of 10-mm-thick wood slats and 10 mm spacing between slats.       Spigoline Grid 6-30-35-30 wood slat cladding in PSM R12354 stain, used in the ceilings of the main working areas.
