Spigogroup joins the EActivate movement

By Acoustics, Architecture, Construction, Decoration, News No Comments
The manufacturer of acoustic panels Spigogroup has joined the national initiative 'EActíVate', a movement already supported by more than 3,000 Spanish companies committed creativity and entrepreneurship to sustain the productive fabric of the country in these times of economic and business uncertainty. With this decision Spigogroup, internationally known for its Spigotec (false ceilings), Spigoacustic (acoustic panels) and Spigoline (wood slats) brands, wants to reaffirm its decision to take part in the economic recovery that will make business growth and job creation possible. Lara Oliván, marketing director of Spigogroup, explains that “when the state of alarm was decreed in March 2020 we were also afraid for the future of our business. We decided that, from that moment on, we should work with the same enthusiasm we had when, 30 years ago, we started under the name of Carpintería Paco. The wheel of the Spanish economy must not stop and Spigogroup was going to do its part to make that happen. We got applied our efforts more than ever. Our heads were boiling with ideas as our hearts were racing. The adrenaline of the effort was keeping us going. While others fought their battle in the hospitals, we would do it from our workplace, with the weapons of creativity and innovation.” And all that bore fruit. Within a few weeks Spigogroup's innovation and development department designed, tested and launched the new Spigoplank decorative wood panels. This is a new decorative wood product at the service of recently renovated hotel establishments, offices or shops that today, with faith and courage, open their doors every day to keep our country working. . Benefits of natural wood acoustic tiles for walls and ceilings

By Acoustics, Architecture, Construction, Decoration, News No Comments
Natural wood acoustic tiles for walls and ceilings have veneer finishes that provide a visual result similar to solid wood. It looks like solid wood but it's just a few natural wood veneer consists of a very thin sheet of wood, only a few millimetres thick, which is glued to the acoustic tiles. This format offers a number of benefits: It is greener: Many metres of veneer can be obtained from a single tree, thereby preventing the overexploitation of some tree species. It is much better if, as Spigogroup does, you choose wood with PEFC and FSC certificates that guarantee that the wood employed comes from sustainably managed forests. In addition, veneer manufacturing consumes less energy than other types of finishing. MMore decorative choices: Acoustic panel catalogues have dozens of different options. We can opt for wood species that we would not normally be able to use because of natural expansion and contraction issues. In addition, we can decide on pre-stained or pre-made sheets or choose from hundreds of options of veins, knots and textures. Better finish and maintenance: Natural wood acoustic tiles can be repaired or maintained like any other wood. Furthermore, edge finishes are perfect. They're lighter: The latter is very important as most acoustic panels are installed on walls and ceilings. . By Acoustics, Architecture, Construction, Decoration, News No Comments
Using colour interior cladding in a project is a bold move, but it can also be very appropriate. It all depends on whether you are taking into account the impact of colours on people and whether their consequences are in line with our objectives as decorators or interior designers. People perceive colours differently and they provoke different emotions. Brands know this and decide their corporate colours according to the psychology of colours. These decisions mean that, in the future, an office or business will decide to use wood panelling, colour interior cladding or acoustic panels of one or another colour hue. What does each colour mean? White represents purity and innocence, cleanliness, peace and virtue Yellow is associated with happiness, wealth, power, abundance, strength and action. Red means stimulation, passion, strength, revolution, virility and danger. Orange has to do with enthusiasm, action, lust and sensuality. Blue represents tranquillity, freshness and intelligence. Green is youth, hope and new life or ecology. Purple embodies sophistication and elegance, mystery, nostalgia and spirituality. Pink is the colour of sweetness, delicacy, friendship and pure love. Grey is the colour of indetermination or mediocrity, but also that of peace, tenacity and tranquillity. Black is the colour of elegance, formality and sobriety.
