Curved wood slats for ceilings? Is it truly possible? In which catalogue can I find them?
Many of our clients know that one of the great advantages of working with Spigogroup is that we manufacture of all our materials. This means that we can adjust de design, format, dimensions, quantities and deadlines to the requirements of any architectural or interior design project.
Sincerely, we like these ‘à la carte’ jobs that we have to tackle every now and then. They take us out of our routine, they pose challenges and they allow us to learn.
This is a good example. The decoration project of a small anonymous entrance hall in Estella, Navarre, which required a wood ceiling made with curved wood slats. On other occasions we have manufactured curved wood ceilings, such as those made for Fundación Laboral de la Construcción, but we did it with wood acoustic panels and now we were asked to do it with curved wood slats.
This is the result. Just 20 m² of Spigoline Grid System wood panelling, model 5-15-35-55, with a grid 350 mm wide and 3000 mm long, finished in stained solid obeche wood with standard varnish. The slats were placed on the grid with black rods and the installation was made with attaching clips.
