Bodegas y Viñedos Tobelos is a clear example of the new interior design in wineries. It is a Rioja winery, located 2 kilometres from Haro, in the heart of the largest wine area within the Rioja Designation of Origin. When it opened in the last decade of the twentieth century, the owners opted for a building with an avant-garde look, featuring materials like concrete. However, they wished to, at the same time, maintain a reference to traditional materials such as, in this case, wood.
Thus, while the structure of buildings and the main production and storage rooms offer the solid aspect of concrete, the areas for offices, visitors and the wine bar show their warmest and comfortable side thanks to small details in wood, typical of interior design in wineries employing wood inner linings and wood ceilings with bespoke wood furniture. From those first steps to the present, Spigogroup has been able to participate in the growth of the brand and the winery, contributing in each step with the quality and elegance of wood, used in every project, and our distinguishing mark.
Just one one final recommendation. If you would like to visit a Rioja winery do not miss Bodegas Tobelos and their tastings and wine tourism activities. If you are not visiting La Rioja… plan a visit as soon as possible. Meanwhile you can buy Rioja Wine from the Bodegas Tobelos online shop, and enjoy their wines in your celebrations with family and friends.
