New online Spigogroup catalogues: solutions for acoustic conditioning, technical doors, sports furniture and much more

By Acoustics, Architecture, Construction, Decoration, News, Spigogroup wood projects No Comments
One of our objectives this year was the renewal of the catalogues of the different Spigogroup families (Spigotec, Spigoacustic, Spigoline, Spigocompac, Spigodoor). The previous ones were fine, they were well-liked and did their job well, keeping architects, engineers and decorators informed about the whole range of solutions for acoustic conditioning, technical doors, sports furniture, wood slats, acoustic paintings, etc. that are offered by our various divisions (Spigotec, Spigoacustic, Spigoline, Spigocompac, Spigodoor). But, just like a soldier who retires after a thousand battles, it is time to withdraw them and give way to the new generation of Spigogroup catalogues. We have completely renovated the catalogues of our top five divisions (Spigotec, Spigoacustic, Spigoline, Spigocompac, Spigodoor). Now, they are more attractive from a graphic point of view and more user-friendly, with better structured information. In addition, they include much more technical information. In these new catalogues you will find all the details that professionals require of all our products: models, materials, finishes, dimensions, characteristics, conditions and assembly instructions, complements, areas of application, certificates, etc. The printing press is at full capacity, printing thousands of copies of the new Spigogroup catalogues, which our clients, influentials and friends will soon be able to enjoy. Would you like us to send them to you as soon as they are ready? 5 Magnificent examples of decorative inner linings in French schools

By Architecture, Construction, Decoration, Inspiration, News No Comments
Decorative inner linings are a very elegant, warm solution for the interior of buildings although they may not seem sufficiently strong and durable for places like schools where hundreds of people go by every day. This is not the case. Decorative wood inner linings are sufficiently rugged to to provide the ideal cladding for ceilings and walls, even in schools. At Spigogroup, we take orders every year for cladding, ceilings and doors for schools and universities in Spain. But in addition, we see that the use of decorative wood inner linings is also spreading to other countries. Here we bring 5 magnificent examples of decorative inner linings installed in French schools. . Jules Verne School, in the town of Ch芒tenay-Malabry, by Archi5 Architects (). Wood removable ceilings – Materials choices for supporting panel

By Acoustics, Architecture, Construction, Decoration, News No Comments
Wood removable ceilings are made of wood panels laid out on a fully standardised grid system, for quick and easy installation from the sides of a room. Wood panels in removable ceilings offer significant advantages (acoustics, aesthetics and so on) so it is very important to know their composition and the possibilities they offer. The panels in wood removable ceilings basically consist of a main base plate or support on which a thin layer of finish is applied and one can choose among dozens of options. Depending on the acoustic conditioning, work carried out in a room and the degree of sound absorption required for panels, these will have different types of perforations, combined with a heat bonded, sound-absorbent veil to allow you to achieve a Optimum Reverberation Time for the room. In other posts we wrote about the finishes of acoustic panels in removable ceilings and accessible ceilings (See: "Options in Spigotec ceiling finishes and wood panelling" ) but this time we detail the main types of base plate or support that acoustic panels in wood removable ceilings can have. .
