In which cases do we manufacture made-to-measure wood doors?

By Acoustics, Architecture, Construction, Decoration, Spigogroup wood projects No Comments

If you ask us in which cases we manufacture made-to-measure wood doors, the answer is simple: when our clients ask for them. Some decoration or interior design projects require wood doors with specific characteristics that are not offered by the standard models in the wide range of Spigodoor technical doors and wood doors. We can provide an answer to this problem because we are manufacturers and we have the possibility to undertake any special customised order. The cases in which we manufacture made-to-measure wood doors depend on the type of requirement of each project:   Dimensions:  the standard dimensions of Spigodoor wood doors are 2030 mm in height with a choice of widths of 425, 525, 625, 725, 825 or 925 mm. However, if a project requires other lengths, other proportions or even another shape, we can study its technical feasibility and undertake its manufacture.   Finishes: the Spigodoor door finishes catalogue is very extensive and includes ready-to-paint MDB, laminated HPL formica, natural wood maple, beech, cherry and oak veneers, and lacquer in any reference in the PANTONE, RAL and NCS charts. However, there may be other possibilities that we can study in order to provide customised manufacture if a client requires it.   Technical requirements: we are manufacturers of acoustic doors and FR fire doors, which we can also adapt to the needs of a project within the limits of regulations.   Special systems: At Spigogroup we manufacture special standardised door systems, such as flush doors, panelled doors or anti-pinch doors, which we can also make to measure.             If you liked this post about made-to-measure wood doors, you may also be interested in:   – Doors, wood panelling and phenolic cabins for La Atalaya toy library – Example of a project for the renovation and refurbishment of an entrance foyer in Logroño (La Rioja, Spain) – Bespoke doors for Gonzalo Sánchez Casa Notarías offices – 6 commitments you should demand from your supplier when buying wood doors

Doors, wood panelling and phenolic cabins for La Atalaya toy library

By Architecture, Construction, Decoration, News, Spigogroup wood projects, Uncategorized No Comments

In addition to phenolic cabins for toy libraries, at La Atalaya toy library in Logroño we also take care of other constructive and decorative elements in wood. La Atalaya toy library built by Aransa Construccion y Obra Civil, opened its doors for the 2021-22 school year in Logroño’s Valdegastea neighbourhood. Half toy library and half youth centre, from the outside it is easily identifiable by its toy-like architecture, with coloured cubes on the façades. As always happens in this type of building, one of their first needs was to equip it with our sport furniture Spigocompac brand phenolic cabins for toy libraries and schools. We manufacture them in 2.00 metre high, 12 mm compact board of thermosetting resins, stainless steel fittings and finished in formica system colour range. We also manufacture and install Spigodoor Basic Light series wood doors with smooth leaves, with HPL formica laminate finish, black PVC edges, pine-wood door lining, chrome fittings and plate handles with silent lock. We also do some bespoke carpentry work, such as the 30 mm spruce board cladding and 200 m² of tongue-and-groove floorboards, which we manufactured and installed in the interior trim of the window openings of the façade cubes. The same wood was used to make the counter in the area between the offices and the lobby. The work was completed with phenolic board cladding and other carpentry work on skirting boards, wardrobe fronts, general furniture, as well as melamine plywood worktops and other 15 mm OBS panelling.   If you liked this post about phenolic cabins for toy libraries, you may also be interested in:   – Office lockers, what advantages do they offer? – How to distinguish good wood acoustic panels? – Anti-pinch doors for schools and kindergartens – Sanitary cubicles for toilets, changing rooms and showers and cleaning and disinfection protocols

Spigoline adds 18 new wood slat cladding models to its catalogue

By Architecture, Construction, Decoration, News No Comments

Spigoline has completed its catalogue of Linear system solutions with 18 new models of wood slat cladding. At Spigogroup we are always attentive to the demands of the market. We closely follow trends in decoration with wood and acoustic solutions with wood panels. Also, and very importantly, we attentively listen to the demands, suggestions and ideas of our clients and partners. This confirms the preference for wood slat cladding with the slats laid edge-to-edge and parallel to each other in some projects. Spigoline already had this type of wood slats in its Grid system, in which the slats are connected by a rod that runs through them. In these new Linear System models, the slats are joined together at one end by means of a black painted obeche wood crossbar, leaving the entire width of the slat free. The new models can be fixed with screws or using T15 profiles. They are available in natural obeche wood, obeche wood with wood colour stain or obeche wood with RAL/NRC lacquer and can be surface treated with standard varnish or B-s1, d0 flame retardant varnish, or autoclave treated B-s1, d0 flame retardant treatment. Its nomenclature is simple. All the names (e.g. model V20-160) start with the V (vertical) followed by the slat width in millimetres (20) and the slat spacing in millimetres (160). These are the new wood slat cladding models of the Spigoline Lineal system. Have a look at them and imagine them in your new project.
